S4 Parents’ Meeting 2 October 2014
Our S4 parents’ meeting will take place on Thursday 2 October 2014.
Following consultation with our Parent Council the school is introducing a new intuitive and easy to use online system for booking appointments for Parents’ meetings. This new system will allow parents to choose their own appointment times with teachers and receive an email confirming appointments.
A letter was sent home today to all S4 parents/carers informing them about the arrangements for the upcoming Parents’ meeting as well as a guide explaining how to use the online booking system.

Emergency School Closure Procedures
You may remember that in previous years the weather was so severe that we had to carry out an emergency closure of the school. Our school, like other schools in East Renfrewshire then remained closed for almost one week.
As we move towards Winter it seems appropriate to write to parents to describe our procedures should we require to close the school in an emergency situation caused by severe weather.

Commonwealth Gold Medalist visits MCHS
Louise Renicks Commonwealth Judo Gold medallist visited East Renfrewshire schools on Thursday 4th September.
Louise spoke to S3 pupils about her success in Judo and what it takes to become a Commonwealth champion.
School Photographs
On the morning of Tuesday 23 September the school photographer will be in school to take individual photographs of pupils in S1, S3, S5 & S6 year groups.
