Welcome to the first edition of the Science and Technology magazine.
This has been a combined effort between the Computing, Science and English departments. A group of S1-S3 pupils worked hard to create this special Christmas edition and we hope you enjoy it.

We are delighted to announce the annual S FACTOR shortbread competition!
All S1’s should bring in their best shortbread making attempts to Mr McWyroslawski’s room on Tuesday Morning for judging by Mrs MacPhee and Mrs Martin.
Remember there are house points for the best entries so get baking!!!

We’re looking for very talented individuals to represent our school in the British Schools Karting Championship. This is a great opportunity to develop your team working skills.
Any S3 or S4 pupils interested in committing to this team should see Mr Stewart at the beginning of lunchtime today, Monday the 17th of December.
Please note that being part of these championships will require you to be available outwith school hours.
Profile photos for yearbook will be taken Tuesday from the start of lunch until the end of 6th period and again on Thursday at the same times. This is your only chance to get a new photo for your yearbook as an alternative to your photographs taken at the start of the year. If you have not handed in or e-mailed your personal profile to mchsyearbook2013@gmail.com you will not be permitted a new photo.
Our S1/2 pupils are off to the Pantomime on Wednesday 19th December. 350 pupils and staff are going the the SECC to see ‘Jack and the Beanstock’ with John Barrowman. Click here to see the arrangements.
