Getting Started in IT SCQF Level 3<\/strong><\/p>\n Learners will gain an understanding of basic computing including word processing, saving, retrieving and editing files along with Internet searching.<\/p>\n Delivery: Microsoft Teams<\/p>\n Day: Monday<\/p>\n Start Date: 5th<\/sup> October 2020<\/p>\n Time: 12.30pm – 3.00pm (flexibility applies for school pick-ups etc)<\/p>\n Duration: 16 weeks (40 hours)<\/p>\n Play in Early Education and Childcare SCQF Level 4<\/strong><\/p>\n Learners will develop a basic understanding of a variety of types of play, which contribute to the development of a child. By exploring a variety of types of play, learners will have the ability to describe a range of play experiences and identify each type of play. Once the course is complete learners will have the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the appropriateness and value of play opportunities for the learning and development of children.<\/p>\n Delivery: Microsoft Teams<\/p>\n Day: Wednesday<\/p>\n Start Date: 7th<\/sup> October 2020<\/p>\n Time: 9.30am – 12noon<\/p>\n Duration: 15 weeks (37 \u00bd hours)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Understanding Mental Health SCQF Level 4<\/strong><\/p>\n This course is for those who wish to work in or are working in Health and Social Care.\u00a0 Learners will be given the skills to identify and understand what is meant by the term \u2018mental health\u2019 and \u2018wellbeing\u2019 identifying a range of mental health issues and behaviours associated with this and how they are portrayed in the media.
