This might be<br \/>\nabout the number of devices you have in the house or when parents and carers are able<br \/>\nto help. Some of this learning will be about your health and wellbeing, and remember<br \/>\nthat if you are finding any of your school work hard then you can still ask your teachers<br \/>\nfor support. They will be there to help!<br \/>\nThis fifth update gives more advice to families about how to stay healthy during<br \/>\nlockdown \u2013 mentally and physically.<br \/>\nPhysical Health<br \/>\nFitness Apps<br \/>\nIf you fancy a change from Joe Wicks, you might like to try out one of the many<br \/>\nfitness apps available. This article recommends the \u201cbest fitness apps to keep in shape<br \/>\nduring lockdown.\u201d<br \/>\nActivities for Younger Children<br \/>\nThe pack linked above, called Maypole Madness, has a brilliant list of activities for all<br \/>\nages during May. For example, on page 8, there is a list of activities linked to sensory<br \/>\nplay for young children.<br \/>\nGarden Activities<br \/>\nIn the same Maypole Madness pack, on page 6, there is a list of fun garden and outdoor<br \/>\nactivities for the whole family. Let\u2019s hope the sun stays out!<br \/>\nActive Schools East Renfrewshire<br \/>\nPlease keep checking out our Active Schools Twitter to stay up to date with<br \/>\ntheir suggestions and especially their weekly sports challenges which are posted every<br \/>\nWednesday.<br \/>\nMental Health<br \/>\nThe National Parent Forum of Scotland<br \/>\nThis group have produced guidance for parents on supporting children\u2019s learning this<br \/>\nterm. This includes the key point that \u201cthe most important thing is to make sure that<br \/>\nyour children and your family are safe and supported to cope with the challenging<br \/>\ncircumstances.\u201d<br \/>\nHealthier Minds<br \/>\nHealthier Minds is East Renfrewshire\u2019s guide to supporting the mental wellbeing of<br \/>\nchildren and young people. The \u2018Talking about Covid-19\u2019 section is being updated<br \/>\nregularly by Educational Psychology Service and there are links to other useful<br \/>\nwebsites. You can find more on Twitter @eastreneps<br \/>\nOn the website, you will find a Children\u2019s Guide to Coronavirus produced by the<br \/>\nChildren\u2019s Commissioner. Everything is explained in clear, plain language.<br \/>\nWe would especially like to draw your attention to a new document which EPS have<br \/>\ncreated, It\u2019s Normal To Feel Like This\u2026 Covid-19: A Guide For Young People. There is<br \/>\na lot of information available on the different ways we may cope at the moment, but<br \/>\nlittle on how we might be feeling.
