In November 2015, the senior team took part in the East Renfrewshire heats of the Rotary Club Youth Speaks competition achieving third place with a delightful and entertaining speech on the ways in which we have become addicted to technology.

Recently three S3 Pupils, Iona G, Kirstin W and Emma S, took part in the East Renfrewshire Heats of the Clarkson’s Speaker’s Club ASC Junior Competition. The girls won the East Renfrewshire Heat with an outstanding performance, delivering a speech on whether the Monarchy is anachronistic in this day and age.

The Judges were extremely impressed by the excellent delivery, content and team work.

The girls were first in their category and they progressed to the next stage winning the regional heats as they argued the pros and cons of the First Past the Post Electoral system, proving they are definitely first minister material!

Well done to our team!
