Congratulations and Gold Stars all round to the pupils involved in the Young Enterprise Group Mini Sales Event at S5/6 parents evening. A last minute decision to proceed with the sales event without promotional materials resulted in an outstanding success. Excellent work by some dedicated pupils
A very big thank you to everyone in the school for contributing to a very successful Charities Week. The total raised at this point is £5,400, which is well up on the figure at this time last year, so well done to everyone!

(and not as previously advertised, “Snow White”)
Charities Week begins next Monday (31st October). The usual range of activities will be on offer, as well as a few surprises. Details of the activities are displayed on the many posters around the school and in the special handouts which will be distributed during lunchtimes this week in the Open Area and the Dining Hall.

Our annual Careers Convention takes place tonight
Wednesday 26th October in the Open Area.
It promises to be an interesting and informative evening with representatives from Universities and Colleges and from many diverse careers such as Armed Forces, Dentistry and Veterinary. In order to cope with the large number we expect to attend, we would ask that pupils and parents from S2 and S3 attend from 6pm to 7pm and S4, 5 and 6 from 7pm to 8pm.
Be afraid! The S5/6 Halloween Dance is coming – Thursday 3rd November.
