Oxford University is doing a Scottish School tour this month. They will be in Williamwood High School on the 18th September 2012 at 6:30 pm.
This is a very good talk about applying to Oxford and pupils will be given some good tips. Any student who is applying this year, or indeed next year, is invited to attend.
If you are interested please give your name to Mrs Crilley as soon as possible. Cambridge students should attend this as well.
The results of this year’s SQA examination will be sent to candidates on Tuesday 7th August. Pupils who have signed up for MySQA will receive their results by text or eMail.

A paid summer job researching science! Places are limited to 3-4 per school. If you wish to find out more then you should look at the websites listed below and speak with Mr McGarry (Lab A14). The closing date for applications is late January.
Glasgow University will be coming to the school on Monday 24th October Period 3, to speak to all UCAS Applicants about Personal Statements. This will take place in the Main Theatre.
On Monday 31st October Period 3, your Pupil Support Teacher will go over the requirements for Personal Statements.
