S1 Sports Day – Tuesday 19th May
S2 Sports Day – Wednesday 20th May
Both sports days will last for the full duration of the normal school day and we will return to school by the end of the school day. It is really important that you return your consent form (yellow – S1 and blue – S2) to your PE teacher as soon as possible if you have not done so already. This should be returned by Friday 8th May at the very latest. Remember to bring along the following –
Essential items to bring:
- Packed lunch
- £2 travel contribution
- Plenty of water/sports drinks
- Waterproof jacket to stay warm and dry
- Tracksuit trousers
- Trainers or running spikes
- Suntan lotion
The lists are now available in PE Dept to sign up for the event(s) which you would like to compete in on the day. You must sign up by Friday 8th May. Speak to your PE teacher if you are unsure at all.
Handball will continue for the duration of this term. The team training will be on Tuesday lunchtime in the Old Gym in PE Dept (12.30pm – 1pm). All S1/S2 boys are welcome to come along. The boys who attended Handball club during last term should attend.
Our first team game will be after the SQA exams (5th June onwards).
Upcoming events – any pupil (S1-S6) who may be interested in attending any of the following events must meet with Mr Murphy on Wednesday 13th May at LUNCHTIME in the OLD GYM.
If you are interested but unsure of qualifying standards then please attend the meeting as all of the information will be shared then. You MUST attend this meeting should you wish to participate as the entry deadline is Friday 15th May.

Could all 9 finalists please submit their final report (500 words max) based on the Burnley v Leicester City game to Mr Murphy by Thursday 21st May. I look forward to reading your reports and congratulations on making it into the final.

Can all pupils that have signed up for the Premiership Experience day out please attend a short meeting at the morning interval in the Main Theatre
