Handball Club

Following the success of the handball ‘taster’ sessions in PE and learning the rules of the game in Modern Languages there will be a handball club for S1 pupils every Tuesday lunchtime in the Old Gym.

The club will start at 12.30pm so you will have time for lunch first and it will finish at approx. 1pm. S1 boys and girls are welcome to attend.

Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club is back on and looking for new members to join.

If you are interested in philosophising about questions like ‘Why are we here?’ and ‘Is it ever right to lie?’

Then come to D.18 on Monday lunchtime. All years welcome. Bring your lunch.

Happy Reading

Barnardos (beside Waitrose) are needing volunteers for any day of the week.

If you are looking for some voluntary work for DofE or would just like to volunteer this would be a great opportunity.

All you need to do is pick up a form from the shop and then hand it in and they will get back to you as soon as possible.
