Mearns Castle High School PE Department provide an extensive range of physical activities and sports for S1-S5 pupils to experience in Core PE. S1-S4 pupils attend Core PE three times per week (each period lasting 50 minutes) and two periods per week for S5 pupils.

In addition to Core PE pupils have the opportunity to choose certificated PE with National 4, 5, Higher and Advanced Higher all being offered to S3-S6 pupils.

Some activites on offer include – Football, Rugby, Hockey and Gymnastics.
