Renewable Energy

We are learning about different fuels and how they are used.

We invited an engineer from the local wind farm to teach us about wind turbines.  We listened and watched for useful information.  We wrote notes and asked questions.

Our group couldn’t agree if cardboard was waterproof or not……….
SDC11413
We tested different materials to see if they were waterproof.
SDC11412
The plastic bag was waterproof.
SDC11411
The paper towel wasn’t waterproof.

We are learning about different types of energy.

We made predictions about the possible outcomes of our experiment.

We used heat energy to change chocolate from a solid to a liquid.
