We had a visit from Hopscotch Theatre who gave us a numeracy performance. They played music and had to try and fix their spaceship by answering numeracy questions (times tables and co-ordinates) and problem solving. We learned that using teamwork will help fix things. Will, Oli, Daisy, Oliver

Our grammar lesson was a little different today. We went on a tour of the class for our grammar questions today. Mrs Martin put out 28 questions around the room. She challenged us to correct as many sentences as we could, putting in capital letters and full stops.

Millie – my viking long boat can float.
Daisy – I got a necklace and a shell. I looked up Viking jewellery on the internet and designed my own necklace.

Oli – Karate is exciting and we got to do karate on a partner. We learned lots of different moves.
Jamie – It was good and we got lessons in how to kick, punch and block.
Fraser – I think karate was good because we got to learn how to do self defence.
Lucy – I like karate because you get to learn how to fight people and defend yourself.
