Farm to Fork Homework
Fantastic Homework!
Jacob made a fruit salad and talked about where each ingredients came from. He also cut some fruit and sketched the inside of an apple.
Sophia made a healthy snack. She took pictures of every step.
Oli designed a healthy lunchbox.
Jessica made an impressive miniature model of a farm!
Pupil of the week
Joe worked extremly hard in reading this week and made accurate predictions on where the story was going using his prior knowledge.
Lets make a plastic bottle greenhouse!
Liam – We were putting bottles on a cane.
Oliver – Mr Stern drilled holes in the bottles and we had to feed the bottles onto bamboo canes.
Finlay – I made lots of canes but the bottles kept falling off. Liam, Joseph and I fixed them.
Joseph O – Mr Stern helped us sort the bottles on the canes and it will make the walls of the greenhouse.
Joe W -We need more clear bottles to build the rest of the greenhouse.
Jessica – We need 350 more 2L bottles! Please hand them in.
Fantastic French
Bonjour!
We have been making french superheroes. We have been learning greetings in french, how to say our names and ages.

We were solving a problem about aliens. The problem included Bipods and Tripods.
Zaid – Bipods have 2 legs and Tripods have 3.
Sarah S – The group had 23 legs in total.
Will – We to find out how many where Bipods and Tripods. We found that there could have been 10 bipods and 1 tripod.
Siona – or 5 tripods and 4 biopods.
Amazing Highland Coos
We have been learning about the Scottish artist, Steven Brown and his art work. He created The McCoo.
We have been drawing our own McCoos.
Finlay – Steven Brown is a famous artist.
Zaid – He started painting much later in his life.
Joe – He used to live in Kilmarnock.
James – Now he lives in Irvine.
Daisy – Steven Brown likes to have colours in his paintings.
Fraser – Steven Brown is still alive today and he is creating more paintings.
Will- Steven Brown is artistic.

First Week in Primary 4
We have had a great first week in Primary 4!
Blair – We were doing interesting maths. We made questions to describe ourselves. For example, Age: 4 x 2 = 8.
Sophia – We made a postcard for Mrs Martin about our Summer holidays. We drew pictures of our holidays in the sunglasses.
Siona – we all made silhouettes.A silhouette
is a outline of a person but we made ours colourful and interesting!
We filled it with what we like.
Zaid – We took pictures of our class and in this photo we could make a funny face!
