Millie’s Fairtrade Homework
Millie challenged herself to make a cake with fairtrade ingredients. They look very yummy!
Millie even included the recipe for us to make them too!
Career Month

Ben – It was fun.
Jamie – He was a doctor and told us what doctor means.
blair- We saw doctor stuff like a needle and Stethoscopes.
thalia -It was cool!
FINLAY-We got to meet a doctor.
Podiatrist
Sienna – we learned lots about feet
Mia- A podiatrist works with feet.
Fraser – So if something is wrong with your foot, a podiatrist can do surgery on it.
Outdoor Spelling
Viking Clay Pottery
Fraser – It was VERY messy!
Joe – I had to put my thumb into the clay to make the hole for the pot. It felt weird!
Ben – It was fun!
Logan – We had to make pots out of clay.
Liam – It was fun and cool making Viking pots.
Jamie – We got our table messy! We got to roll the clay into a ball and then create our pot. We decorated the sides.
Sarah M –Â We had to write our name in Viking ruins and mould the clay to make a pot.
Zaid – We had to put our pot upside down and flatten it to make the pot.
Siona – It was fun making the pots.
P4 string performance
Watch our video! This morning we were treated to a performance from the p4 string group.
Viking longboat art
Viking longboats
We went outdoors and measured how long a real longboat was. We worked together to measure out 30 metres.
Arlo- it was really long!
Sienna- it was really fun. I can’t believe how long it was.
We then came inside and started our art. We are creating longboats on a wild sea. We will post some of our Star artists later on in the week.
Tartan
We created our own tartan and learned about Robert Burns.
Fantastic homework
Fantastic Viking long boats and jewellery! Well done!
Joseph- it was really fun making the long boat.
Lucy – making jewellery was fun to do!
Millie – my viking long boat can float.
Daisy – I got a necklace and a shell. I looked up Viking jewellery on the internet and designed my own necklace.
