We have been using different materials to try to create an Egyptian Shaduf.
We had to decide on what material we wanted to use to construct it and we could make it our self or work as a group.
Our shaduf had to pivot and turn.
We made our shaduf stronger by adding tape.
My shaduf pivoted and turned. You could take the bucket off.
You could bend the arm of the shaduf to empty the water.
I used K-Nex to make my shaduf.
Everyone that used straws found that they weren’t strong enough.
We put a bucket on one end and a weight on the other.
It was hard to get the straws to hold the weight and the bucket.
We maybe could of used sticks instead of straws to make it stronger.
We worked on different parts using Lego then we joined them together.
We made a life sixe shaduf.
