Wellbies Action Plan 2018-2019

The Wellbies are responsible for ensuring that the pupils in Kirkhill learn to be active, healthy and responsible citizens.  In the playgrounds, they provide the P1s and P2s with games and ensure that all stages have a play trolley with active play equipment.  The Wellbies also mentor for the pupils in Kirkhill.  They have training to help them resolve minor conflicts and ensure all children feel included and involved in the classroom and playground.  They also have training from the Active Schools Coordinators to equip them with activity ideas and encourage them to teach pupils to cooperate and work well with each other.  The Wellbies are currently working towards achieving level two accreditation of the Rights Respecting Schools Award by incorporating Global Citizenship in to our ethos at Kirkhill.  They ensure that the Health & Wellbeing of all pupils are considered in all aspects of our school. The Wellbies work together in a team to act as role models for the pupils in Kirkhill.
