|Kirkhill Primary March 2019 Newsletter|
|Welcome to our March newsletter. It has been a busy term at kirkhill Primary School and it has been great to see so many of our school community getting involved in various events this term…|
We are delighted to try out a new online booking system to reserve tickets for our forthcoming shows. Initially parents and carers will be able to order 2 tickets for either the morning or evening show and then after 1 week more tickets will be available for parents/carers to choose 2 others for any of the sessions that have available tickets. We hope this system will help us with the organisation of our events and improve how we do things. Please click below if your child is in Primary 3 or 5 to book tickets for their event https://kirkhill.parentseveningsystem.co.uk/ tickets will be available from 9 a.m. on Friday 29th Mach 2019.
Our learners are successful, confident, exercise responsibility and contribute to the life of the school, the wider community and as global citizens. Our pupils achieve a range of skills and attributes through a wide range of activities.
As a school, we are committed to recognising a broad sense of achievement. Therefore, in addition to the many ways in which we celebrate achievement within school already we would like you to inform us of any additional achievements that we may not yet know about your child.
In order to modernise how we work and to be more Eco friendly, we will no longer ask you to complete a Golden Achievement Sheet for your child. Instead we would like you to photograph your child with a certificate, trophy, etc and in no more than 200 words, please outline the achievement including the pupil’s first name only. Please add this information to the proforma here- achievements and email to AchievementsK1@kirkhill.e-renfrew.sch.uk.
Alternatively, you can Tweet achievements and photographs to @KirkhillPS
Your child’s achievement will then be displayed on Twitter, on the plasma screen at reception, in the hall during lunch times and before assemblies.
We look forward to receiving your achievements.
