For this term 1’s Inter House Challenge we had an aerobicise . All the houses from P1 to p7 took part in a competition to see which house had the best aerobics team.
Miss Meechan hosted the Inter House Challenge along with some of the P7’s. The challenge started with a warm-up so we did not pull any muscles. Then we did squats and then star jumps. After, we did star jumps and running back and forward. Finally we did running on the spot and high knees. We ended with the cool-down where we did small stretches. The songs played where Cold water, Spread It like Peanut Butter Jelly, Stay with Me, Shut up and Dance with Me and Firestone.

UNCRC Article 31 Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
The Book Sale will once again be visiting Kirkhill Primary School on Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16h and Thursday 17h November and will be set out in the gym hall.
Leaflets to guide you and a timetable when your child’s class will visit have been sent home. You are very welcome to come along and help your child to select a book , otherwise please feel free to send money in a sealed envelope marked with the amount and assistance will be given. Please note that pupils are under no obligation to buy a book during their class visit to the Book Sale.
We ask that parents kindly do not use the pre-paid or internet voucher system as this has resulted in book delivery delays in the past. In addition to books there will also be other small items for sale, e.g. pens, pencils, erasers. If you are coming to help your child choose a book, please enter through the gym hall door, not the main school entrance.
The Book Sale will also be open for sales on the evening of Thursday 17h November during the Parent Meetings, between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. Please feel free to pop in.
Please note that all profit goes directly back to the school in the form of books, but once again there is absolutely no obligation for you or your child to purchase a book at the Book Sale.
If you would like to help, and hold a current PVG. please contact the school office.
