Parent Council – Kirkhill School Gala

Great Success!
We are delighted to announce that our Kirkhill School Gala made over £4000! This phenomenal amount of money was down to a fabulous team effort comprising of parent helpers who helped set up, run and clear up the gala, parents and teaching staff who assisted on stalls, friends of Kirkhill who took a stall, donated a raffle prize or contribution and to the huge crowd who attended…..thanks to you all!

Special thanks to Nicol Estate Agents who were our event sponsors, for supplying and running the popcorn and Guess the Teddy’s birthday stalls, and for donating our top raffle prize of the mini scooter.

Thanks to Shahid and Saj Saliq for donating Subway sandwiches and running the stall.

A huge thanks to Councillor Jim Swift who stood o8ut in the pouring rain to be our Beat the Goalie right to the very end!

Thank you to Kate and Scott Telfer for making and placing our banner.

Thanks to Carol Gillespie for designing our Gala poster and to Andy Hart printing for supplying our flyers.

Big thank you to Linda and the girls at Macs who always support our events by running stalls for the event fund.

Thanks to Creature Comforts for bringing such a fantastic selection of animals and donating all proceeds to the Gala.

Thank you to Fiona Scott and her two former pupil sons who so kindly helped set up and clear up and run stalls.

And to everyone involved in making this year’s gala such a fabulously successful event, thank you and well done.
