{"id":884,"date":"2013-05-23T15:42:42","date_gmt":"2013-05-23T14:42:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/IsobelMairFamilyCentre\/?p=884"},"modified":"2013-05-23T18:54:35","modified_gmt":"2013-05-23T17:54:35","slug":"eco-schools-bronze-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/IsobelMairFamilyCentre\/2013\/05\/23\/eco-schools-bronze-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Eco Schools Bronze Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #993300\">Eco Schools Bronze Award<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>After a lot of hard work by staff and children we have achieved\u00a0our first Eco-School Award.\u00a0 The Bronze Award Certificate was awarded on the 17th\u00a0\u00a0May 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Children from\u00a0 the Family Centre\u00a0and pupils from Isobel Mair School have been working very hard and learning all about the measures that have to be taken to look after our planet. Recent learning has\u00a0focused\u00a0on recycling plastic bottles and other &#8216;junk&#8217; items, recycling \u00a0paper on a daily basis and investigating nature and growth.<\/p>\n<p>Children from the Family Centre have taken part in a \u00a0litter pick during &#8216;National Spring Clean Week.\u2019\u00a0 The children have also\u00a0taken part in various activities that have furthered their knowledge on different aspects of Eco schools.<\/p>\n<p>We\u00a0 received our Bronze Award and are well on our way to achieving our Silver award.<\/p>\n<p>Well done to all!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Eco Schools\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/IsobelMairFamilyCentre\/files\/2013\/05\/eco.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3648\" height=\"2736\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/IsobelMairFamilyCentre\/files\/2013\/05\/17th-Feb-pauline-003.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eco Schools Bronze Award After a lot of hard work by staff and children we have achieved\u00a0our first Eco-School Award.\u00a0 The Bronze Award Certificate was awarded on the 17th\u00a0\u00a0May 2013.
