{"id":2159,"date":"2015-02-28T11:41:59","date_gmt":"2015-02-28T10:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/IsobelMairFamilyCentre\/?p=2159"},"modified":"2015-02-28T11:41:59","modified_gmt":"2015-02-28T10:41:59","slug":"childsmile-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/IsobelMairFamilyCentre\/2015\/02\/28\/childsmile-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Childsmile Month"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">At Isobel Mair Family Centre all staff are committed to Oral Health Promotion. <\/span><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">We have maintained a\u00a0100% parent consent for our toothbrushing since starting the programme in 2011.\u00a0All staff are trained and ensure the correct procedures are implemented when toothbrushing. <\/span><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">As part of our ongoing oral health promotion, we are taking part in Childsmile Month; raising awareness of the important messages about good dental health and hygiene.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Miss Hannah Dewhurst is our lead practitioner in oral health promotion.\u00a0In addition to her role as Child Development Officer within Cara Playroom, Hannah takes on responsibility for overseeing the Childsmile programme, \u00a0liaising with the Oral Health Promoter\u00a0from East Renfrewshire. Hannah has been working with the children in a variety of way to promote oral health key messages.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Have a look at our photographs and come and see the work the children have been doing. <\/span><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Remember to participate in the &#8216;Design a Toothbrush&#8217; competition!
