Swimfest<\/span><\/h1>\n

This morning five of our pupils, Osman Munir, Peter Brown, Fraser McAlpine and Rebecca Murray\u00a0from classes Bute, Sanda, Skye and Shetland\u00a0 set off to Blantyre Sports Centre to take part in the West of |Scotland Swimming Gala for pupils with a physical and or visual impairment.<\/p>\n

They\u00a0all had\u00a0the chance to swim against peers from other schools in a friendly and slightly\u00a0competitive atmosphere.<\/p>\n

The races\u00a0 included 10m front stroke, 10m back stroke, as well as a novelty race and a relay.<\/p>\n

Results are in……….<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Congratulations to all our swimmers.<\/p>\n

Osman, 1st place<\/em> <\/strong>in the backstroke and 2nd place\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>in the novelty race.<\/p>\n

Rebecca Murray, 1st place<\/strong><\/em> in the front stroke and 3rd place<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in novelty race.<\/p>\n

Peter Brown, 2nd place<\/em> <\/strong>in front stroke and novelty races.<\/p>\n

Fraser McAlpine, 2nd place<\/em> <\/strong>in the\u00a0front stroke and novelty races.<\/p>\n
