personal safety;<\/li>\n<li>\uf0a8 instil pride in the school and contribute to its values;<\/li>\n<li>\uf0a8 promote a positive and professional work ethic;<\/li>\n<li>\uf0a8 help pupils to see schools as places of learning ;<\/li>\n<li>\uf0a8 support positive behaviour;<\/li>\n<li>\uf0a8 encourage identity with, and support for, school ethos;<\/li>\n<li>\uf0a8 promote equality of opportunity and social justice;<\/li>\n<li>\uf0a8 protect children from social pressures;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #25004d;font-size: small\">\uf0a8 <\/span><span style=\"color: #25004d;font-size: medium\">foster a spirit of partnership among pupils, staff and home and<br \/>\nschool;<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dressing for Excellence is a policy approved by East Renfrewshire \u2018s Education Committee and was formulated following discussions with head teachers and Parent Council chairpersons.<\/p>\n<p><a
