On Tuesday 22nd May 2012 Isobel Mair School welcomed a very special visitor to the school during the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.<\/p>\n

Mrs Wallace and\u00a0\u00a0our very own head boy Fabio\u00a0welcomed His Royal Highness, Earl of Wessex to tour the school and meet all the pupils and staff.<\/p>\n

During his tour of the school he visited many of our teaching areas including the hydrotherapy pool, sensory room, adventure room and\u00a0\u00a0then\u00a0joined\u00a0class Orkney who had compiled a\u00a0\u201dWho wants to be a Royal Millionaire\u201d\u00a0Diamond Jubilee Quiz on the SMARTBoard showcasing the work they had researched\u00a0using key points in Her Majesty, The Queen\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the tour was a special performance from \u201cReels on Wheels\u201d our very own wheelchair dancing group and then his Royal Highness officially opened our Jubilee woods, unveiling a plaque\u00a0to commemorate the work of the pupils in the school\u00a0and\u00a0 then planted a tree which will hold special memories for everyone.<\/p>\n

It was indeed a very memorable day in the life of Isobel Mair School.<\/p>\n
