Glenwood turned 50 on 4th October 2026. The first entry in the log book said, \u201cGlenwood Nursery opened officially on 4th<\/sup> October, 1976, although two members of teaching staff have been here since the 19th<\/sup> August, 1976. At this date we have one head teacher, one assistant teacher and five nursery nurses.\u201d\u00a0 <\/em>What a contrast to a staff team of over 30 members of staff now and a further increase when Glen staff join our team!<\/p>\n

We celebrated with a giant Teddy Bears’ Picnic in the woods. many of our families were able to attend too. And or course, we all took our teddy bears!<\/p>\n

Our Parents’ Committee purchased special mugs for all our children as a lasting memento of this special occasion.<\/p>\n
