East Renfrewshire Council has set up one week when you should register your son or daughter at your local primary school for school education in East Renfrewshire.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
You must register at your catchment school, even if you intend to make a placing request to another school or to defer your place and keep your son or daughter at home for another year. The school will be able to provide you with a placing request form. You will require to complete this form and return it to the Education Department at the address listed below.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Please note that if you live in the combined Robslee\/Giffnock catchment area you should register your child at Giffnock Primary School.\u00a0<\/p>\n
If you intend to educate your child privately or at home you should still register at your local catchment school.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
You may choose to enrol your son or daughter in either the local denominational or local non-denominational school.\u00a0 This choice will determine the secondary school to which your child will transfer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
