{"id":3912,"date":"2017-01-05T11:05:30","date_gmt":"2017-01-05T10:05:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/Giffnock\/?p=3912"},"modified":"2017-01-05T11:05:30","modified_gmt":"2017-01-05T10:05:30","slug":"disabilityasn-karate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/Giffnock\/2017\/01\/05\/disabilityasn-karate\/","title":{"rendered":"Disability\/ASN Karate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Marie Baxter, Active Schools Co-Ordinator is working with\u00a0the Scottish Karate Governing Body to create new karate classes for pupils in East Renfrewshire who have a disability or ASN.\u00a0Scottish Karate\u00a0is looking\u00a0 to develop this in East Renfrewshire and across Scotland to try and produce future athletes that could compete in the Paralympics.<\/p>\n<p>The club will run at St Ninian\u2019s High School and this is open to all pupils in mainstream schools, both primary and secondary\u00a0and who\u00a0have a physical or learning disability or visual impairment or ASN.<\/p>\n<p>The club will start on Monday 23rd January 2017 and run from 5.10pm-5.50pm @ St Ninian\u2019s High school.
