Children 1st\u00a0has launched\u00a0a Create a Smile campaign\u00a0on to ask people to show Scotland\u2019s children they all deserve lives free from abuse and neglect.<\/p>\n
Children 1st has a long history of supporting children and families who have experienced or are at risk of abuse and\u00a0would never underestimate the seriousness of it, or the damaging effects it can have throughout a child\u2019s lifetime. The complex nature of child abuse makes it difficult for many members of the public to see how they can personally make a difference. Through\u00a0the #createasmile campaign\u00a0they want to encourage members of the\u00a0 public to take a small action via social media to show they care about children who have and are experiencing abuse today.\u00a0They will use this as a starting point to engage the public in a conversation about the many different ways\u00a0people can support children in Scotland to live free from abuse and trauma.<\/p>\n
