{"id":2476,"date":"2015-08-25T14:38:10","date_gmt":"2015-08-25T13:38:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/Giffnock\/?p=2476"},"modified":"2015-08-25T14:38:10","modified_gmt":"2015-08-25T13:38:10","slug":"meet-the-teacher-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/Giffnock\/2015\/08\/25\/meet-the-teacher-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet the Teacher"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Dear Parents and Carers<\/h1>\n<p>We extend an invitation to you to come along and meet your child\u2019s teacher on the evening of Wednesday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> September 2015.<\/p>\n<p>This evening is designed for you to come along, meet your child\u2019s teacher and find out a little about their time in nursery and school.\u00a0 The teacher will be available to chat to you about what knowledge and skills your child will be learning, along with important class routines and tips.\u00a0 You will have the opportunity to view some key resources and look at children\u2019s displays.\u00a0 The classrooms will be open between 6 and 7 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The teacher will not be discussing individual children and progress.\u00a0 An opportunity for this will be available during our formal parent\/teacher interviews (November and March), or indeed if you have a concern a pre arranged appointment.<\/p>\n<p>The Parent Council will be in school and they hope parents will take a few minutes to find out how you can join, about the wonderful work they do and how you can support them and the school.\u00a0 They hope you will share with them some ideas on future council projects.<\/p>\n<p>We look forward to meeting you on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> September.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents and Carers We extend an invitation to you to come along and meet your child\u2019s teacher on the evening of Wednesday 2nd September 2015.
