Flowers, fractions and fun! February 24, 2017 by Miss Bishop We were choosing different materials for our flower collage After we had chosen our materials, we glued them into place. We were performing different types of seed dispersal in class for other groups to guess. We were demonstrated animal burial, when an animal forgets where its food is stored for the winter Harry was the tree, and Holly and Iain were horse chestnut seeds. Calum made the sound effects. It was really fun. We learned that if a seed is dispersed by water it can travel a long way. We made a fraction wall showing fractions as parts of a whole. We used our fraction walls to find equivalent fractions. The fraction wall shows you the size of different fractions.
