This week in Primary 7 we nearly got kidnapped!! (Well almost…)
We attended Safety in the Park which teaches pupils all about different types of danger.
We learnt about road safety, for example how important it is to have a bike which is in good working order and keeping our distance from drivers on the road.
Looking at the scenario and working out what might have happened.
We learnt how much sugar was in different foods and drinks.
Beer goggles gave us the experience of 18 units of alcohol – everything was split in two and it was very disorientating.
Learning about safety around water.
Online safety.
Learning about ‘Stranger Danger’ after we were all tricked into walking off with a stranger
We learnt how to create a grab bag for an emergency
In ICT this week we learnt how to code the BBC Micro:bits. We had to create a variable and used the ‘if – then’ command to turn the Micro:bits into dice and also create a rock, paper, scissors game.
