CAR PARKING

The car park at the front of the school is very busy at certain points of the day.  Can all parents please ensure that they park with consideration for others.    As it will soon be  darker in the mornings and when children are leaving at the end of the day  please consider the safety of our children when you are using the car parks.  Please do not double and triple park, this causes an obstruction and makes it difficult for children returning to cars to be seen.  The drop off zone was designed be used for parents dropping children off, not for use as additional parking spaces.

CAR PARKING

The car park at the front of the school is very busy at certain points of the day.  Can all parents please ensure that they park with consideration for others.  We have had a number of incidents where people needing to use the disabled parking bays have been unable to do so due to cars being parked in these spaces that are not displaying a blue badge.    As it is now much darker in the mornings and will soon be dark at 3pm please consider the safety of our children when you are using the car parks.  Please do not double and triple park, this causes an obstruction and makes it difficult for children returning to cars to be seen.

JRSOs

Our Junior Road Safety Officers met with Mrs Fleming and Greg Brown from the Roads Department.  They discussed ways of improving the safety of children walking to and from school in the winter when it is much darker.  The JRSOs are going to be planning an awareness raising campaign and setting up a notice board in the dining hall to highlight important safety messages.
