\"\"<\/a>This year Calderwood Lodge is working alongside UJIA to mark Mitzvah Day.\u00a0 The Pupil Council are collecting non-perishable food items to be used to make Welcome to Glasgow<\/em> packs for asylum seekers.\u00a0 Goods collected in school will be given to the UJIA who alongside other community organisations will package the goods on Sunday 16th<\/sup> November at the Jewish Community Centre, 222 Fenwick Road.\u00a0 Parents and pupils can go along between 10 am and 12:30pm to help.<\/p>\n

Parents can donate the following items to be brought to the school no later than Thursday 13th November:<\/p>\n

\nSugar
\nCooking Oil
\nRice
\nPasta
\nSpaghetti
\nInstant Noodles
\nInstant Soup packets
\nTins Of soup
\nTins of Tuna
\nChickpeas
\nBaked beans
