The Great Braidbar Bake Off!!!!

As part of our Business and Enterprise topic Primary 3 thought it would be good if we could make something to sell at the Summer Fayre.  We brainstormed some ideas and came up with baking and selling our produce.  Our school now has a portable cooker which we can take into the classroom and we were the first to use it, to bake flapjacks.  Very nice tasting they were too!  We also made top hats, empire biscuits and crispy cakes.  It was a fantastic learning experience for us because it involved maths, language, health and wellbeing, science, art and design.  In science, we have been learning about plants so we planted seeds and decorated pots to put them in.  They germinated just in time for the fayre so we were able to sell them too!  We really enjoyed the whole experience, especially helping out at our stall on Saturday afternoon.DSC04457 (2) DSC04451 (2) DSC04448 DSC04449 DSC04455 DSC04452 (2)
