On Friday we celebrated Red Nose day. We all enjoyed wearing our red noses and we brought in donations for charity to help children less fortunate than us. Lots of the teachers painted their faces. We think Mrs Brown should win a prize for the funniest face!

We also had a visit from the Scottish S.P.C.A. They told us lots of information about helping animals that might be in danger. Alan showed many of the pieces of equipment he uses in his job. We were surprised to find out the piece of equipment he uses most is a towel or a blanket.
After attending the Pupil Council meeting Jack reported back to the class about the plans for the new playground activities. He showed us a photograph of where everything will be. We are really looking forward to trying them out when we come back to school after the Spring break.
Here is a photograph of our new playground.
