An other busy week in Primary 3B. On Tuesday morning, along with P3A and P2 we went on a trip to Giffnock Library to meet the author and illustrator Nick Sherratt. He read some of his books to us and showed us how to make a story from illustrations. Katherine and Yasmin were chosen to draw some of the illustrations. We were very lucky because Mr. Sherratt read his latest story to us. It’s not even published yet, but he wanted to know if we enjoyed it our not. Guess what? We all loved it! We laughed a lot when he asked Miss Innes to choose an outfit from his book ‘Choose’ and then he drew an illustration of her. It was so funny! At the end of our visit Mr Sherratt picked three names out of an envelope and gave each of the children a signed copy of one of his books. Saman was chosen from P3B.
