We have used Burns Day and Chinese New Year as recent contexts for learning.
We have:
- tasted and described some new foods
- compared traditions to how we celebrate things in our families
- played with words and sounds in Scots language
- developed mark-making skills
- explored form, colour and line in art
- worked together to follow a recipe
- shared the food we have prepared with our friends

I TRIED THE HAGGIS. I HAVEN’T HAD IT BEFORE. IT HAD A FUNNY SMELL.
