Barrhead High have been allocated 20 student places to the above STEM event.<\/p>\n

The STEM West event brings together different Science, Engineering, Technology and Maths (STEM) companies to allow young people to fully understand how vital STEM skills are. Last year’s event had a number of virtual reality companies showcasing their VR headsets and software, as well as the NHS, The Royal Navy and the Forestry Commission. Students are encouraged to get involved with what each employer is showcasing and to ask any questions they may have about how STEM subjects in school relate directly to careers.<\/p>\n

Any S3 students wishing to attend this event should see Mr Boag (Maths) ASAP.<\/p>\n
