\"\"<\/a>DOFE Arrangements for Thursday – 28th Sept<\/p>\n

Can all DOFE students on their expedition tomorrow (Thursday) meet\u00a0at Barrhead train station at 9am – please do not\u00a0meet at\u00a0the school.<\/h6>\n
Travel Arrangements<\/h6>\n

On Thursday, half of the group will travel to Greenock in the minibus, the other half by train – accompanied by Mr Weir.<\/p>\n

On Friday, the students that travelled to Greenock by train will return in the minibus, and the other half of the students will return by train accompanied by Mrs Kirkpatrick.<\/p>\n

Students should be back at Barrhead train station by 3pm (although it could be earlier).<\/p>\n

Costs<\/h6>\n

The cost of each DOFE expedition is normally around \u00a320. This covers the cost of hiring minibuses\/ transit vans, diesel, gas for the trangia stoves and\u00a0any sundries that students require (suntan lotion, aftersun,\u00a0soft drinks and food if students are dehydrated or cold).<\/p>\n

Where\u00a0the total\u00a0cost of an expedition is lower, monies will be returned.<\/p>\n

Organising our expeditions in this way allows us to keep the costs to a minimum, and\u00a0is considerably lower than\u00a0other secondary schools in ERC.<\/p>\n
