\"Malawi\"<\/a>Four of our young people – Nicola Miller, Sophie Turnbull, Callum Scott and Ronan Park-Patterson – are currently in Malawi (the poorest country in the world) with the ERC group of 26 pupils from all the high schools, together with some staff.<\/p>\n

They have all worked together to raise money to fund the trip and also allow them to participate in activities that would benefit the local people. They will be working in the Kaponda district\u00a0that has been a focus for the work of Barrhead Councillor Betty Cunningham for the past few years.<\/p>\n
