Brooke is part of the \u2018Looking Forward, Not Back\u2019 project, which is a joint initiative between Barrhead High, St. Luke\u2019s High and East Renfrewshire Council\u2019s Young Persons Services department.<\/p>\n

The pupils have been learning about the historical background to sectarianism and about how it has impacted on Scottish life.\u00a0 Some of them attended a national conference in Stirling last Thursday as representatives of the group. They had to make a presentation about the work they have been doing over the last nine months and\u00a0had the opportunity of meeting\u00a0the minister.<\/p>\n
