As part of the school\u2019s commitment to the rights of the child, learning and teaching is permeated by five key learners\u2019 rights.<\/p>\n
These rights provide the basis of an equitable and high quality pedagogy while also providing learners and teaching staff with the means by which they can articulate our shared vision of a rights based approach to learning.<\/p>\n Self-evaluation for self-improvement<\/strong><\/p>\n Staff and learners understand that self-evaluation is an integral aspect of our approach to continuous improvement. They participate in the peer observation programme to provide opportunities to learn from each other.\u00a0 Feedback is via a coaching conversation to drive forward changes to learning and teaching.<\/p>\n Practitioner Enquiry<\/strong><\/p>\n Across the school all staff are leaders of learning and a commitment to improving pedagogy and a collegiate learning culture is evident. Opportunities for learners and staff to regularly engage in critical and creative thinking are embedded via practitioner enquiry.
