PE Kit

All pupils should get changed into PE kit, whether they are fit for PE or not (teacher’s should use their discretion in this). If not participating, pupils must speak to teacher before entering the changing room. Pupils should be given appropriate tasks in the lesson that they will be able to fulfil.

 

Pupils should wear the following item/s for PE:

  • School polo tops;
  • Tracksuit bottoms / leggings / shorts;
  • Appropriate footwear for activity;
  • Jumpers should not be covering polo top when indoors;
  • Outdoors, pupils can wear jumpers / rain-jackets.

 

Pupils should not be allowed to participate in the following:

  • Vest tops;
  • Tops with inappropriate writing / logos;
  • School shoes;
  • School shirts / trousers / blazers.

 

If pupils do not have kit, they should be given kit by class teacher.

A deposit must be left by any pupil borrowing kit, i.e. tie or shoe.

Borrowed kit must be returned at end of period.

Procedures:

1st No Kit              – Warning issued & Demerit;

2nd No Kit             – Warning; Demerit & Detention;

3rd No Kit             – CfC to PT; Letter home & Detention.

4th No Kit              – Detention; Demerit; PT phone home.

5th or more No Kit – As above.

If pupils refuse to wear departmental kit, they should be sent straight to PT. PT will contact SLT if appropriate.
