As part of our work on Clyde in the Classroom, P5 have been working on Powerpoint presentations. We have been working in trios to produce Google slides to present to each of the classes telling them all about our project.
First of all we decided our trios. Then we used Google Classroom to complete a table showing what we were going to do our slides on . We worked collaboratively , talking to each other all the time.
Then we worked individually on our slides and then shared them and imported them into one PowerPoint.
We will be presenting to all of the classes W/C 4th March before the fish are released on Wed.
Jayden – The project was interesting – we got to work on our own slides and also work in a team.
Allanna – It was fun because we got to work collaboratively.
Morgan – It was fun to make the slides with all the information we have learned.
Ava O’Reilly – P5 Blank
We have been recording the temperature of the water in our hatchery since it arrived on the 21st of January. We have recorded the temperature three times each day to make sure that the temperature was within the correct range – 8-10 degrees.
To help us monitor and analyse the data we used Microsoft Excel to record our data and then used the chart Wizard to create a bar chart of our data . Here is the bar chart Morgan created.

Hollie – It was fun to create our own background for the charts.
Robbie – it was a bit hard to create the chart but also fun to make our own designs.
In maths the circles have been learning about angles, symmetry and transformation. We have been learning about direction and movement using bearings.
We used the Sphero’s which are programmable spheres to demonstrate our understanding of angles and movement. We worked in pairs to programme our Sphero’s .
Marlie – The Spheros are interesting and fun and you could do a lot of things with them.
Robbie – It is amazing how the Spheros work and they are fun.
Cerys – They are really technical but also fun.
Welcome to our class blog.
