Today P6 brought in their own electronic devices to take part in digital learning.

Scott: Miss Macdonald helped me access the Wi-Fi.

Lauren: We used our own devices to access the internet and log into Yammer.

Ryan: Yammer is really fun. It's like safe Facebook for children.

Lianna: We were making quiz's and polls for each other.

William: We have been online using SumDog and I like the questions.

Lauren: We used the devices to play a Mary Queen of Scots game.

We all really liked our first BYOD day of P6 and we can’t wait to do it again.

We had a great first day with our new teacher, Miss McGarrity.

We made birthday cards for each other, we created bunting and made our own individual handprints.

Miss McGarrity made lots of jokes and made a video all about our journey to success in Primary 6. It is to be continued…..hopefully by us.

Lauren McEwan enjoyed “making the birthday cards so now every pupil has their own card ready for when their birthday arrives!”

Ryan Jenks loved “drawing around his hand and creating his own design.”

Katie Flemington loved “watching Miss McGarrity’s movie and is looking forward to creating more clips throughout the year.”

Lauren Hill liked” working in groups to decide what a good teacher would do.”
