There are exciting ways to encourage children’s investigation and exploration. Children learn best when they’re given lots of opportunities to solve problems that are meaningful to them those that arise in their day-to-day life.

One child said, “I’ve not got a spoon!” From this problem the children researched how to make spoons from plastic bootles, designed their own spoons and tested their design.

“It works!”

“I’ve got sand on my spoon.”
