We have been learning about our bodies. We have been naming all our body parts and learning what we have underneath our skin. The boys and girls have learned we have a skeleton underneath our skin and that it gives your body a shape and it holds us up. We have been talking about the heart and feeling it beat ‘like a drum’  When we do exercise our heart beats faster. When we finish our physical activity we then cool our body down which brings our heart rate down to its normal rate and we are learning to relax.

‘That’s when you make yourself, when you come alive’

 ‘we have a brain’

 ‘mine is like a drum’

‘it goes faster when you run’
