The children have been learning about friends and feelings through the Goldilocks and the Three Bears story. The children received a letter from Goldilocks asking how baby bear could be friends with Goldilocks. The children were able to suggest say sorry, give a hug, and make more porridge and so on. More porridge was made and the children acted out the story to further their understanding and they also discussed the various feelings that each character felt. This has been part of the children’s Interdisciplinary Learning (IDL), which is helping the children to fully understand friends and feelings in different contexts.
