Science. I can talk about the stars in the sky.

“We are travelling to the moon. We made a rocket to get there.”

“I’m copying the stars.”

“I’m making a star pattern.”

Some of the children have shown a keen interest in space. The children were learning the story titled “Whatever Next” whereby a teddy travels to the moon in a makeshift rocket. The children were able to create props to act out the story, which resulted in the children discussing the stars in the sky. This led to the children learning about constellations and copying and creating constellations.
