  ENG 0-12a

I explore sounds, letters and words, discovering how they work together, and I can use what I learn to help me as I read and write.

Some of the children have been learning about the initial sound of their name through our Superhero topic. The children provided the context for their learning, which is proving to be extremely valuable as the children are really interested in their learning. The children have also been creating Superhero characters and have been imaginative in terms of the different powers their Superhero has.
